When you choose an Akora home, you’re choosing our commitment to deliver – with construction to commence 17 weeks from deposit.

Once we receive your initial deposit, we provide a start month commitment for when your house will commence construction. Our construction facility offers a controlled environment from which all of our customer’s homes are constructed. 

Since our capacity is capped within our construction facility, our in-depth forecasting ensures we do not overcommit to production, with our customer’s experience and delivery always the focus of our operation.

In order for your home to achieve the committed start date, all we need from you is:

• A signed contract and full deposit completed
• Plan drawings and design changes commenced
• All colour selection appointments complete and selections signed off
• Finance approval provided (including Authority to Commence Construction)
• Land settled and Proof of Title

With all the above in place, your Guaranteed Start Date becomes our 'True North', and your home will commence construction within 17 weeks in accordance with the above requirements. 

With Akora, your new home will be delivered within 16 weeks^ – guaranteed.

In order for your build to be delivered by a guaranteed delivery date, we’ll require:

• Access to the land (prior to delivery to prepare the site)
• Confirmation of home location and orientation
• Clear access to your site (i.e. vegetation, trees, power lines, etc.) for road delivery

#Guaranteed Start Date:

• Delays outside Akora’s control may delay the site start date. These include but are not limited to; development approval, town planning, easement delays and retaining wall approvals
• The Guaranteed Site Start date may be delayed by the industry shut down period (includes but not limited to 4-week period over Christmas) Excludes custom design homes
• The start date is not a specific date in 17 weeks – we provide a start month 17 weeks ahead and your job will be scheduled to start sometime in that month provided
• The guaranteed start date is applicable to only one single home per quote (unless noted otherwise)
• Any reference to days is specific to business days, not calendar days

^Guaranteed Delivery Date:

• Akora reserves the right to change the Guaranteed Delivery Date due to reasons including, but not limited to; inclement weather, variations raised during construction period, delays due to owner works in our facility, restrictions limiting freedom of travel and supplier delays.
• The Guaranteed Delivery Date may be delayed by the industry shut down period (includes but not limited to 4-week period over Christmas)
• Delays caused due to client requests such as holding for stage inspections in our facility will void the build time guarantee
• Date is void where hidden site conditions are encountered including but not limited to; rock, buried material, artifacts, sewer or other underground services.
• Any breach of contract will lead to an extension of time, or the owners failure to make any payment on time
• The delivery means the home has arrived onsite – site works for the purpose of home installation and post-delivery building works are excluded from this guarantee. The time starts when the home is started in our facility
• Any reference to days, is specific to business days, not calendar days
