COLORBOND® steel has recently introduced a range of cool roofing colours inspired by Australia’s unique landscapes and developed for diverse and extreme environments. This brand-new range of colours all feature solar absorptance (SA) values of less than - or equal to - 0.45, indicating the level of solar radiation absorbed by the roofing material is low, and in turn, meets the current energy efficient requirements set by the National Construction Code (NCC).

The technology included in this range have the potential to improve thermal comfort and reduce the need for air conditioning in your Akora Home resulting in an ongoing lower energy build.
